Intelligent Recording release the XtR Desktop IP TapIntelligent Recording have recently released a new desktop call recorder, the XTR IP Tap call recorder provides simplified desktop connectivity to record calls on an IP Phone. Most IP recorders rely on the use of an Ethernet card within a PC which can incur in some cases a lot of configuration and sometimes a second Ethernet card to tap into the telecom network. The XTR IP Tap call recorder does not require any additional cabling or complex cabling work to be carried, the simple plug and play install means you can be recording calls within minutes of installing the software.

This USB device talks directly to the recorder application that is installed on your PC, connect the recorder to your phone with a second cable that connects to your PC and all calls are recorded straight to your computer instead of being stored on a third party server.

The XTR IP Tap Call Recorder works with XTR’s Desktop Software BackOffice 4ip that allows you to play back any recorded calls and display information regarding where the files is stored, the serial or port number and the extension that the calls was taken on (if there are multiple recorders in place).

The user has the option to automatically record every call or to manually decide which calls they wish to record, ideal for users who only need to record calls when taking payment over the phone or working from a home office and receiving both business and personal calls.
